BitoPro Cold Wallet goes on sale: Supports NFC and “military-grade” security level
BitoPro, the cryptocurrency exchange in Taiwan under BitoGroup, officially launches the BitoPro Cold Wallet today. It is not only the world’s first card-style cold wallet designed by a cryptocurrency exchange but also comes at one-third of the price of other cold wallets on the market. Prior to its release, it has received numerous inquiries and positive feedback. Four card designs, including BitoGuardian Blue, Noble Black, and a hidden edition, have been announced on the official website. The original price of the BitoPro Cold Wallet is TWD 1,499, but it is offered at an early bird price of TWD 999, making it the most affordable option globally!
The private key is written into the cold wallet through NFC induction, and the chip adopts a “military-grade” security level.
Cryptocurrency holders attach great importance to the security of their digital assets. However, commercially available cold wallets are expensive and complicated to operate, creating a high entry barrier. To address this pain point, BitoPro has developed the first decentralized cold wallet, which will become a standard feature for on-chain transactions regardless of the amount of assets.
The key breakthrough of the BitoPro Cold Wallet is its seamless integration with the BitoPro exchange’s hot wallet. Users can access the cold wallet page through the BitoPro app and operate the NFC induction card within a familiar interface, enabling quick transfers of digital assets. During the NFC induction process, elliptic algorithms are used to generate private keys, which are then written into the card. Each time a “receive” or “send” transaction is conducted, the card must be used for induction, and the private key stored within the card is used to authenticate and sign the transaction. The private keys of the BitoPro Cold Wallet are stored offline within the card chip, and the BitoPro app does not store user’s private keys.
